Les Gets is one of the world capitals of mountain biking. In summer, the village turns into a huge bike park: dozens of lift-served downhill runs, routes for every level, and the status of an international stage — the resort regularly hosts the World Cup and the big MTB events. Whether you’re discovering the discipline or you’re a rider, the terrain is exceptional.
Where to ride
The Les Gets bike park spans both slopes, accessed by the “bike” lifts: green and blue runs to learn downhill, technical reds and blacks for riders, features, jumps and single tracks. On the Mont Chéry side, the feel is more natural. Beyond, the Portes du Soleil trails offer big enduro and cross-country routes between Les Gets, Morzine and Switzerland. The e-MTB opens the terrain further still.
Booking
Bike rental (including electric), “bike” lift passes and lessons/coaching are booked through the shops, the area operator and the MTB schools. Helmet compulsory; protective gear strongly recommended in the bike park.
