The ski area
From the village (1,140 m) you climb towards Les Molliets and Tête des Saix (2,120 m), the crossover point to the whole Grand Massif: Flaine and its altitude, Samoëns, Morillon and Sixt on the Giffre valley side. The Grand Massif pass opens all 250 km; the local Les Carroz pass is enough for the village sector. Ski-in returns reach the plateau.

The Les Carroz sector is known as family-friendly and sunny: broad green and blue runs near the village, beginner areas, a ski school. Strong skiers quickly cross over to Flaine’s wide-open spaces and the area’s long runs — including the legendary Cascades piste (14 km, Flaine to Sixt).
