In summer the Grand Massif is made for mountain biking. In Les Carroz, the summer-open lifts give access to a bike park and a network of trails dropping back to the plateau and the valley. From playful beginner runs to more technical descents, it’s broad, sunny terrain shared with the massif’s wider bike area.
Where to ride
From the village, the lifts (open in summer) carry bikes up to the high trails. The bike park offers runs graded by level — green to black — for downhill and enduro. Further out, the Grand Massif trails link Les Carroz to neighbouring sectors via long descents and pasture tracks. Electric-bike riders also find plenty to climb without using the lifts.
Booking
Bike rental (including electric), “bike” lift passes and lessons are booked through the shops and the area operator. Helmet compulsory; protective gear is recommended in the bike park and advisable on technical runs.
Good to know
