Where to walk
From the village (1,000 m), easy paths cross the pastures and hamlets, while the Jaillet and Christomet trails offer the finest balconies over Mont Blanc. In summer, the open lifts shorten access to the ridges. More seasoned walkers cross over to Megève, La Giettaz or the summits of the neighbouring Aravis. Pasture farm-inns punctuate the routes.

The trails are free to access. For a guided outing — reading the landscape, wildlife, plants — call on the area’s mountain leaders. In high season, the summer-open lifts make balcony hikes easier, with views of the range.
