Thermal spa in Évian: the water town, its baths and spa

The thermal spa is the soul of Évian. The whole town was born of its water: a source discovered in the late 18th century, whose reputation turned a lakeside village into a sought-after spa as early as the 19th. The story begins with the Cachat source, whose mineral water made Évian’s name. The town then filled with thermal establishments, pavilions and grand hotels for a clientele come to heal and rest.
